Accuracy and currency
Content is researched carefully and, where it concerns standards such as CVSS, MITRE ATT&CK, RFCs or vendor documentation, is written against the published specifications. Even so, no guarantee is made that any article or tool output is complete, current or free from error.
Security moves quickly. Techniques, tooling, version numbers and vendor guidance referenced in an article reflect the position at the time of writing and may since have changed. Articles carry publication dates for this reason. Always confirm critical details against the authoritative primary source.
Tool output
The browser tools are built to follow their relevant specifications and are tested, but they are supplied without warranty. Do not treat their output as authoritative for compliance, audit, legal or incident-response purposes without independent verification. In particular:
- Analytical tools such as the URL scanner and hash analyzer report indicators, not verdicts. A clean result is not proof that something is safe.
- The CVSS calculator computes a Base score only. Base severity is not the same thing as risk to your environment.
- The JWT decoder does not verify signatures, so it cannot tell you whether a token is authentic.
- The password checker breach lookup reflects only credentials present in the Have I Been Pwned corpus. Absence from it does not mean a password is safe or unexposed.
Authorised use only
Material on this site describes attacker behaviour so that defenders can recognise and detect it. It is written for security professionals, researchers, students and system owners. Applying these techniques to systems you do not own or lack documented permission to test is unlawful, and no part of this site should be read as encouragement or authorisation to do so.
